Forex Buy & Sell Trading Signals

Thank you, FMM.

Actually there’s nothing I don’t understand. Yet I cannot make good decisions when the price is near the retracement level. Also I don’t have the chance to watch the markets hour to hour. I prefer watching the H4 candles and also D1. When I look at the M5 candles to follow up the price action in such a close scale I lose my concentration on the general sentiment.

As for doubling the account (tripling actually) in 4 weeks (3 weeks actually, the last week I made only 11 dollars), I dont think it’s a good start. This month I won 2461 pips and lost 1190 pips. The winners were mainly JPY pairs and many of the losers were USD pairs.

Now I’m doing a monthly plan where I aim to make a 5% daily profit (risking 3% of the whole account) by making 250 pips per week and it looks like it can be more effective and profitable than the aggressive style I had this month. Safer also!

How much money are you trading with Metin, if I may be so bold to ask? And great job tripling your account.

For all: I did some back testing of the Major 4 currencies for the month of April (well, not including this Monday, obviously). I did not let any trades go in after 11am Eastern, but some WOULD go in and might be profitable or might be losers, good idea to be done by 10am if you ask me.

If you simply place limits in the evening before the next day, you WILL make money. THere were 46 profitable short term trades and 2 losers (one went to the 2nd entry for a minimum loss of 5 pips, another to the third for a minimum 20 pip loss). Some trades you have to get out pretty quickly after entering, I’d say within an hour or two, take 10-20 pips before it goes against you.

I’m not saying follow this principle, as it goes against FMM’s rules, but I am simply showing how high probability the short term strategies are.

Thanks for the advice. If by “evening before the next day” you’re referring to the afternoon hours of NY session, it’s evening hours in my time zone and my night is NY close. Those hours never been good for me. Also the short term strategies require a quick and startling concentration. Whenever I hurry things in the FX, I lose. So I avoid the short term. And when I’m too focused, I lose the focus

I started with $1000 on April 2, now it’s $2011. Besides, I withdrew $1553 and my losing trades cost $2181. Total trades: 90. 48 winners, 26 losers, 16 breakevens. I have done demo trading and micro lots for training purpose for about 7 months and I was thinking of investing $10K this summer. $1000 was my pre-investment for the transtition phase from demo to real. This is why I didn’t care about money management at all. But looks like it’s not impossible to start with a small account and make it big unless of course with patience and consistency. This month it’s been a great experience for me. Now looking back it was like gambling. I am not so far from losing actually. For the next two months I’ll try to be more realistic and not invest anything more this summer. Hope I can do it but there are still so many things to learn.

Have A Great Trading Day

Did you take a second to read my “reply posts”!? Check what I said about the results of Short and Medium Term at post number 1536.
For God Sake guys, if you couldn’t read well my reply posts that can be very useful for you and are just few posts above recent date ones, so how will you go back to first and other posts to read my both strategy rules??

I showed traders in that post how Usd/Jpy pair moved, it started with hitting first buy signal at 80.45/50(market price 80.48) then spiked to 81.44(around 100 pips quick spike at BOJ News Release) and the later you can READ it…
Besides, if any trader before asking such questions had ever read my strategy rules could had easily known that you do not enter a signal(sell or buy) more than 1 time, also if market price came close as testing near the signal for example here if it came to 80.53 or 55 and went up 10 or 20 pips… you do not enter at second test.
In between, as I remember that this pair hit again 80.48 after the first hit by some hours to go up again but around 25 pips.
So if you had a pending order 80.45 and waiting the 80.45/50 to be hit all day and go up then no my friend this is not a super hero armor wall!!
And, SL at 30pips is as a safe measure but not necessary to be awaited by the trader but few pips win or loss can be very reasonable at some occasions.
An additional caution is second buy signal situation, it was hit at late hours of friday then went up around 10 pips before market closed at 80.20(due to spread widen)
I think any real trader in the whole world would not enter a trade for any pair at late hours unless ofcourse betting on Monday open Gap to gain easy money but this is somehow risky but with both probability.
Just as the Medium Term Daily Analysis, no trader is supposed to enter any trade at any day at retracement in late hours because simply " how will you gain pips when there’s no volatility or no time at first for market price to move much?! so how if it’s a friday end hours!!

Very Important to keep focus and concentration at price action. It’s good having a trading plan but it’s better be regarding like “at this signal I execute a trade or exit or SL or TP…” instead of it being "on this number of pips"
I do not like to set pips limits nor advice traders do that because the Sky is the limit.
Enjoy trading till the market price action show you to exit TP here or SL there…
Another point is the importance of settings a & risk of account, so lot size is well equated with your account size.

Good Luck

There’s no proof or background basic history whatsoever that say "at this time the market will move like this or better trading or not…"
Despite it’s important to know some crucial hours as London Session open where especially the Gbp/Usd pair will move in a high volatility movement in one direction mainly or sometimes it could stay moving sideways, but worth to keep attention at such hours just as at Newyork session as both are the most volatile sessions.
Besides, some certain minutes or hours can have some good indications for an experienced trader and “only” an experienced or Guru trader who well know how to read the market and when, why price moves like this or that…

For number of pips to TP or SL, it is best determined by price action or good indicators a trader used to follow.

I would note here on a very crucial factor about live accounts.

Withdrawing your initial deposited money after having a Gain that equates it is very important.
As Metin had done, after starting with a 1000$ live account, he had withdrawn 1 and half that amount.
I think you could had gained much more money with much lower loss Metin. But as years pass with willingness to improve, you can reach a stable performance.

For example: If a trader start with a 2000$ or Euro or whatever live account, withdraw 2000 when you make that profit.

In this way, you are relaxing your mind and body, knowing that the money you invested is safe, you got it back and the money you are trading with now are just as bonuses you won from trading, so it’s not a big deal if you loose them all for any reason.

But Certainly that do not mean you get crazy gambling your profits, increasing lot size or trading with no plan…

Main idea, a Real Trader after withdrawing the initial deposited money will have a better Right set of mind and that will boost the daily trading results, giving the trader much more confidence in taking chances with no reluctant attitude.

How very newbish of me to not see this huge 30 m candle’s shadow piercing 80.45 before i entered pending order that morning, maybe not even 2 hours after it pierced it…I must have been still groggy and “looking up” fml lol. Thank you sir for pointing it out to me!
I do read everything in order to understand how to trade in a certain way before I actually decide to execute it on a real account! This was just an obvious newb overlook.
I won’t post in this thread any more questions, but rather just the profit or loss , weekly or daily, just so I dont bother you with stuff already discussed.
Thanks and happy pipping!

FMM have a great signal… the best we have is here:

This is today usdjpy trade:

Profit continues…

Hi FMM…

I learnt a lot about you and found you are incredible genius… it is very necessary to have someone holding a torch to guide you in this highly volatile finance industry… I have been trading since January 2012 and lost most of the money… I dont have proper knowledge and strategy…

So I request you to guide me how to interpret your short term, mid term and long term signals… ( if you can spare your valuable time… plz )…

thanking you in advance…

nice curve lim!!

I’m on BE today after leaving it to work (i’m very sad… lol)

Hello m8,
It is important that you read first post by Fmm in this thread and last 10 pages. It is all answered there, especially in the last few pages. Technique totally explained really. Good luck.

Hi everybody,

Today it was a slow start for the short term signals.
So I decided to try out the Usd/Chf Medium Term signals.
I did some searching in this thread and found some screenshots of Hubinator, and together with post #1 of FMM, I marked “The Zone” as you can see in the screenshot below.

I waited for a close above the zone to go for a breakout, or a close below the zone for a swing.
As you can see in the screenshot, there was only a wick above the zone. Therefor I focused on the swing setup.

As I said before this is my first Medium Term setup, so I’m open for any suggestions or approvements.

Kind regards,

I’m short from .9088.

Please explain how you came up with the zone
