Hello, I’m currently a new trade learning on demo accounts. I’m currently practicing on the web platform forex dot com, but I am trying to as well learn from a mobile device too. So I have currenlty been learning on both. But my question is so forex dot com when I place a buy/or sell I enter the quantity, but when I’m placing a MT4 trade its giving me low decimal values to buy or sell. Which is making me confused because on the forex dot com it show the margin I require to place the trade and as well the pip value, and the quanity which i enter a large number usually from 1000+. While mt4 just shows me a instant execution where I don’t know the margin required or the pip value and the values I enter are usally small from 0.001-100. If someone could explain that would be a great help : )
But from my knowledge so far here’s an example trade I found online on forex dot com web trader, it’s showing EUR/USD where hes gonna buy at 1.15107, with a quantity of 100,000, which the margin required is 2,997.32. So if I where to replicate that trade on Meta Trade 4 mobile for the the instant execution I would do 1 as the amount/quantity, and obvious the margin would be the same? And the thing I find ing confusion is I cant see the margin required to place the trade on mt4 moblie as well the pip value.
