Me and a couple of mates have been looking into forex for the past few months. Just reading up what we can on it.
We have found a couple of courses, both saying 5-10% per month is a realistic return from trading. This sounds really good, almost too good to be true.
Do many people actually earn this from trading forex? Or is this just people trying to sell their course?
The two courses I’m talking about are the Infinity Prosperity course. And a course run a guy who calls himself The Forex Trading Coach, his name is Andrew Mitchem.
Has anyone actually had anything to do with these courses? Andrew Mitchem seems semi legit, he offers the opportunity to talk to some of his students. However his course is extremely expensive…
The infinite Prosperity course is much cheaper but there website seems a little too flashy…
Unfortunately I can’t post links because this is my first post
One of the things that puts a bit of doubt in my mind is why would they be charging people for a course when they can make a lot more money trading forex?
Im hoping they are legit, because it would be awesome if these returns are possible!! But i won’t get too excited before I hear from actual traders…
I have searched the forums and see theres a lot of similar questions out there, but the answers vary a lot, so could only people with actual trading experience please answer.
Forget about the courses, the FREE school right here is probably the best training resource you will find.
Save your money for your first trading account
I’ll promote BabyPips’ School of Pipsology as well, you’ll learn everything that you need to know & the forums & a bit of experience will help you put it all together.
If you’re still thinking of going on a course, the first thing I’d be asking for is proof that they’re profitable. As for past students: data protection probably protects users from their info being given out so I’d be mega cautious that any review was from a friend, business partner or their mum.
Lots of brokers have education sections to their website too, I regularly find myself reading something on DailyFX. There’s a lot of good free stuff on www.WinnersEdgeTrading.com & don’t get me started on YouTube
Have a look at the free stuff first & then maker your decision.
Buyer beware of these courses. And dont sign up until u see some kind of positive proof they r profitable.
not many will show u this.
my opinion is they teach cause they cant trade.
The banner is infuriating but I’m talking about their generic articles. I am by no means vouching for their paid systems etc. All I’m saying is that there’s good stuff about stop losses placements, position sizing etc. Its nothing unique but it’s pretty well presented & conveyed.
Nial Fuller & Chris Capre both have really great free articles too but again, I’m not vouching for their profitability or any of their courses.
Good information is good information, regardless of the source.

In my educated opinion, you would be throwing money away buying into a membership at infinite prosperity. There are a plethora of reasons to be uncomfortable with the claims of Amy Sangster and one should be seriously incredulous as to whether she trades at all. From what I have gathered from speaking with her members, I have yet to have any of them tell me anything that they could not have learned for free in baby pips school.
Everything you need to learn how to trade successfully can be found for free online. If you don’t have the aptitude or the perseverance to find the free sources online, then that is a huge indicator that you are not cut out for forex trading. Wade through the vast amounts of information out there, apply the filter of common sense and critical thinking, back test ideas, forward test what works, and continue doing the above steps for as long as you remain active in the market.
I recommend the teachings of Michael Huddleston - The Inner Circle Trader. Best trading teacher on-line in my opinion, he has several courses available, and everything is free. Check out some of his videos. It’s not something you learn overnight, but his work will change the way you look at charts and you will see what is really going on in price. He has a website with a tutorials page that has his courses, and there are plenty of videos on Youtube.
I agree. I’ve done a lot of studying as well as trading and I have to be honest this site is legit. I would suggest doing the School of Pipsology. It’s very informative, and covers everything you’ll need to understand the Forex Market, or at least have a strong enough understanding that you’ll feel much more confident in deciding on private training. Start here, then open up a practice account, or open a practice account while you’re learning from this site. Then evaluate, with you friends, what you should do next.
Oh, and one of the best things about the School of Pipsology, that add humor, which for me acts as pneumonic device.
I spent almost $100 for books. Now I’m so so so regretful. I wish that I see School of Pipsology earlier so I will never spend that much money for that nonsense books. My friend, read school of pipsology & open a demo account. Try, Try, Try. Make your strategy, determine your goals. These all things which i said will cost you… $0.
The School of Pipsology is with out a doubt the best source of FOREX education out there. It is extensive it covers all bases and it is presented in way that is easy to digest and it is free to boot.
Thanks everyone for the replies! Glad to hear this site has all the info I need to get started, and there isn’t any secret stuff the courses teach.
Just out of curiosity, is there many professional traders here? What percent a month do the pros earn?
I agree BP IS VERY GOOD. you should go through it more than once. when you find ideas or strategies, then you can research it more and see if there is anything else out to to expand on that.
I’ve been on one of those ‘training courses’. Two day course in London, more time spent listening to them tell us the more money we put in, the better our profits. What was learned on the course about trading is covered in ample free sites, this one being an excellent example. For me, it was money wasted as, in my opinion, these courses only seem to be aimed at making money for themselves.
Yes you are right as the knowledge and the things that they will tell you are available for Free
And only if you will make efforts from your side you can understand and start doing trades that can give you a good trading based income for the time to come.
This is because the trading business will stay for your whole life
