Is there a particular reason why sometimes the Calendar doesn’t update with the ‘actual’ figure after the Event has taken place.
I like the idea of the Calendar, and it helps to know when a news event could effect your trading, but if the info hasn’t updated after a certain amount of time, does anybody know where you could go - to get the info almost instantly?!
Would you be more specific which data didn’t update.
Bloomberg tv or CNBC, usually televise the most relevant
data, NFP, PPI, CPI, etc.
But if you need it quicker than that you will need to
subscribe to a news feed.
Sorry to generalise it. I just notice it happens a few times a day maybe. Like yesterday there were ‘4’ high impact events in the afternoon for the EUR and GBP. But no figures were shown afterwards.
Wether or not there was meant to be any figures. I’ve no idea how it works.
Are you talking about interest rate news?
If so you are right it still hasn’t updated.
Can’t say why.
I hate to be disloyal, but I do not use babypips
economic calendar, I use the TV & forex factory.
(Especially for high impact data such as interest rate,
NFP, CPI etc.)
Stick in the mud, old hand, go with what you know best.
Ok thanks. I’ll check it out.
