Forex In The Family

Will you pass this skill set of forex trading down to your children? And at what age would you start teaching them?

Become successful first then think about who you’d teach. Don’t run before you can walk.

@Rickster99 Ok let’s say you was a successful trader would you teach your kids forex or no ?

I avoid telling anyone in too much detail what FX speculating is all about - there’s far more enjoyable careers out there that not only pay a stable income, and in some cases more than which the successful average Joe earns in this game, but also careers that make you feel valued when you’re doing something which actually delivers tangible results; not to mention being around real people.

I don’t deny that FX speculating can make you serious amounts of money when the good is well…good - but you’re also at the constant risk of really not knowing what’s around the corner. I guess in this industry you’re only as good as perhaps your last month, or two at the very best. I still do this along side a FT job, I’ve thought about going full time on several occasions but I just can’t bite the bullet per se. A huge amount of equity is required to do that, which many of us wont ever get to in our lifetime.

So would I pass this ‘skill’ down to my children? At the moment I don’t have children so the answer is simple, but I feel the answer would be the same in either situation. This isn’t a pleasant career, lets be honest, at least in the context of social interaction and having the ability to even talk about it to others who just stare at you with a clueless expression.

Very true, you must first gain experience in the Forex trading industry before you are able to mentor others in this field. As a newbie in Forex trading, you need to first get your roots and get established because there is a lot more to it than just the prediction skills. As a parent, you may not necessarily be able to pass your skills in FX to your children, however much money you may be making from your trade. The person you’d be teaching must first have an interest in currency trading, be willing to learn and take risks and above all, have the patience. Nothing matters more than patience and an eye for detail in Forex trading.

Im sorry guys but this is Just a pointless thread.
