Had 2 trades on IBFX and FOREX brokers that traded twice on thursday. Both had a buy and sell transaction. Couldnt believe it. All winners…
Oh, by the way, I tryed to trade with other pairs using MD and it will not run with the other pairs. It has the other pairs blocked out would be my guess.

I am new to this forum…I recently buy MD and plan to trade live soon. since you guys are very experienced with this EA, can you suggest what is the optimal setting for RiskLevel? I intended to trade with Alpari and/or FxPro…are these brokers suitable with MD…Thanks guys…

I normally run it at 30% risk, but with the current economic crisis I have turned it down to 10%. Alpari is a good broker for MD, a member wendy had great succes with this combination for almost a year.

(it’s sick how much recoverymode/double lotsize +150SL can lose. like 85% of the account balance if you look at the lastest trade)

The 1hr chart looks nice tonight. Switching back to 0.3 risk.
Remember that Megadroid doesn’t trade on Month end. Looking at the 4h chart shows that there is almost NO movement. Sad but true…

I am running it on FxPro.
Number of trades is a bit smaller (compared to AlpariUK)
Results look pretty OK with them. (even though I intervened manually a lot as I was afraid with the market conditions the last month) --> would have been better without my manual inteventions

Risk level was changed a bit. 15 percent in the beginning… 25 for some time. currently running on 10 percent again.
and willing not to intervene anymore

3 live accounts running MD with very different results:
FXCM= very few trades and many losses, not profitable at all
FXDD= more trades than FXCM most profitable with 10% profit in 1 month
IBFX= most frequent trades, no losses and 33% profit in 1 month
1 month is not a large enough time frame for conclusive analysis but it says a lot.

Thx Tuner for your input. Started with Fxpro since Monday wih 0.1 Risk Level…First trade this morning …small win at +1.2 pips…not too bad for a start
mine is 1.2 pips on fxpro last nite (first trade), wonder what is his setting.
I got that one too.
I have learned I am a crappy trader. MD is much better than I am. As soon as I think I know better I cut my winnings short or solidify a loss when it turned out not to happen if I had left it alone.
Ya. The trade came back from the reds and was closed by MD before hitting TP.
As price was spiking up before it was closed there was one requote for me. But ended exactly with the 1.2 you got as well. (AlpariUK got 3.4 as there was no requote)
