It seems like MD varies by broker. I was thinking of trying it out on FXDD. What risk parameters are the most optimal to use? I was thinking 2-3% per trade with a max of 20-30%.
Using modidroid now on my live account with the following settings
0-50: 0.3
50-100: 0.3
100-150: 0.1
>150: 0.1

Two trades for me tonight both 8 pip wins - still making up for lost ground to to the loosers last month.
I have been running the strategy tester covering from April through to today and the results are dire. Anyone else getting this?
Got 1 trade; 8 pips ( maybe because I only allow sell trades on my live account ).
No trade on the demo with modidroid on it, altough everything is set up right.
Only 1 trade for me with modidroid.
The second trade couldnt open: Sell operation failed - error(133): trade is disabled
Two Sell trades for meâŚ11.4 and I closed the second (aggessive trade) at 10.2 as I donât like trades near round numbers, the break through or bounce can be harsh.
I canât get my modidroid to stratergy test, does all the testing but no trades. Iâd say I have something set wrong.
Hi Wendy, $64 profit for me. Trade went rather long though. Also using FapTurbo EurUsd on my live account. Trade now open for more than 24hours. Darn Euro suppose to go down.

Has anyone thought about upping the allowed slip size to 6 or higher ? Seems that IBFX needs to be able to trade at 5 and forex broker needs a slip size of 6 to trade more often. Many,many of my trades are missed because of setting at default of 3.
Whats everyones thought about increasing the slippage up a few more to allow trades to activate. I know it will cost a little more per trade, but will allow more trades it seems. THe journal shows the missed trades.

My broker spread is always around 0.8 pips, and my slip size is at 3 pips. So I donât think this holds back any trades.
Hmm I was like 1pip from TP and wanted to close it manually. Then I thought this time Iâm gonna let it hit TPâŚnow it bounced back

Bravehost the only one who hit SL last night? Itâs strange how his lotsize isnât doubled after that loss but was doubled 21 May (and some other daysa) before a loss.

Ok it closed with 6.7pips profit.
Got a 10 pips win on the modidiod demo. Demo increased by 2% because of the high lot size on band 1. With the normal MD I would only make 1.5% on 10 pips win, taking the same risk (15%).
2 wins on ibfx and forex brokers tonightâŚhurray!!! 4 wins total.
