FXPro is a reputable quality broker in my opinion. Never had a problem with them. There are many others that are good too.

Maybe you could tell me how it works.I’ve had a argument or two about whether we trade against our broker.Now i think i understand how it works as a concept but don’t know how to phrase it.Do we trade against our broker?

I have been running MD on FXDD since July this year. Initially I deposited $500, and it is now worth over $600. The EA has only had ONE loss on my account during this time, and that was of 2 pips or something, so really nothing.
It trades seldom, but very accurately.

My settings: MD v 1.3
Risk 0.3 (=30%)
Aggressive on

I havent seen any increase or decrease with aggressive mode on or off. Im using new version 1.3 it trades a little more often than 1.2
1.3 trades about 3 days a week and 1.2 traded 2 times a week on avg. But some times I would go 2 weeks with no trades with version 1.2

I have MD, MDPro, and ForexScalpa and they all work with the following in common.

Trading time: During ‘twilight zone’ between NY Close and Asian Open(4pm ET to 8pm ET).

Trade sizes can be manually set or based on % of account size.

Usual t/p are 10 to 15 pips but S/l’s range from 40 to 60 pips.

EA will make best efforts to close at break even or a small profit after trade is open for 2 hours. If the trade is ‘in the money’ from the start it will keep it open in an attempt for reach T/P otherwise, after 2 hours and with a small profit, trade will be closed.

If a trade looks like it’s go to the EUR open, robot will close for a small loss if possible.

As like all traders, it’s weakness is the stop loss run or an unexpected news event. Not much you can do about that beyond keeping your trade sizes to a reasonable level. ‘Don’t bet the farm’ because the 'bot has a nice streak.

Recovery mode is based on your trading history. Bot will double sizes on trades if recovery mode is on and after reviewing it’s trade history, it calculates a loss. You may have to change your MT4 history to force MD to see that a recent loss should be recovered.

I have had losses during recovery modes and yes it does hurt but stick with it, it will recover. Last month was my first losing month but since the start of Oct, I recovered all that was lost and started earning a profit.

Don’t be afraid to manage the trades the EA’s open. i have seen many times where the bot will get to 1pip of T/P then due to the Asian’s going on a stop loss run, I suffer a loss. That’s not the bot’s fault, it’s just the market. So I may close a trade myself and take what the market gave me. This EA will make several trades in a months time, don’t obsess over each trade. Make what you can and come back again.

Remember, this is a scalping robot so it will trade counter to the main trend.

You will be best served adding other robots to work as a team with this one. There aren’t many bots that will post a live statement on their site to back them up but this one does. I’ve very happy with them.

WELL SAID, well said… best short detailed page ever! I have my risk set high at .4 and have 60 plus wins. ONe loss for only $6 and that was my fault for trying to help and I had reset the profit level below the tp. I love this EA. Much better than several others I have owned. The time for draw down is short and it seeks break even after only 2 hrs.

I am not sure what exactly you mean by the risk/reward ratio. The risk level? Mine is set to 0.3, meaning the most I can lose at a time in the worst case scenario is 30%.

The bot has sure had losing trades (and yes, it does have a stop-loss), but the number of the winning ones has always a lot bigger. I wouldn’t call it a winning steak, since it has been like this for almost a year on my account, and the robot’s backtests on historical data over the past years show similar performance.

I think you mean standard or MINI account.

normally over $2500 would be standard and under would be MINI. But its your choice… the rules are changing to 50/1 in a few days, so we will need twice the money any waya to trade.
