i just reread the first few pages once again to refresh myself…i do this like once a week…i find it amazing how everyone INCLUDING john have evolved, john posted few charts once he started this thread that he considers A+ which im sure he doesnt consider them that anymore

Hi everyone) At the beginning of the new year it looks like most FX pairs are changing directions.The ones with a long down trend are making higher highs and higher lows and the ones with the long up-trend history are making lower highs and lower lows.Do you guys see the reversal of major trends ?

First of all, I just want to say that this thread has been a godsend. I have been trying S/R, Bollinger bands, Divergence, Fibs, you name it. I’ve been a fairly successful trader but it has been at the expense of pulling my hair out while watching my account soar, only to stumble (while sticking to a strict set of rules). I’m not a day trader (yet) but I feel like I have been for the past couple of years while trying to come up with a system that works more than not with some consistency). After reading pretty much this entire thread for the last few weeks, I took a look at my charting and, well I think my wife said it best when she said “how can you look at all of those lines, clouds (Ichimoku), and angles and figure out anything?” Over thinking and analysis paralysis has really killed my account (even with set of stingy rules). So, I thank Johnathon, Dudest, Spongy, bhops, and everyone else that has contributed to this thread. Truly inspiring.

So after many weeks of reading and looking at some set ups, I think I am ready to start putting things in to play. Looking at the charts I think I see one set up on CAD/CHF. If I am missing something here please let me know.

Overall trend is Bearish.
BEEB just closed at a recent support level (6 Jan).
Pending sell order at .8457 (just below the previous BEEB)
SL set just above the BEEB (.8555)
TP target is around .8323

I went down the Strategy plan and everything was tick’d off. Perhaps I am missing something. Thoughts?

Im a little late to the party. But i think you have sunday candles included. That is why you can see a BEEB and we can’t. The candle that has been englufed is the sunday candle and shouldnt be there as its not really got any value to it.

Yes you are completely right. I marked levels and market structure on the EUR/aud daily below,

Keeping eyes peeled for intra day signals.

I will need a big 1h/4h signal to convince me though coz that daily trend is very bullish indeed and commenting in the wrong context but just can’t help looking at the daily! HaHa

Hi bret,

That’s one of the reasons Axi is my main live a/c, I like trading the indices.

Pepper is my backup live a/c [ incase a Tsunami hit Axi offices, or something like that…(God forbid) ]

HotForex is also a good choice if you also want to trade indices.

This has always been my level as the previous pin never tested the weekly support.
