Is this true? if so how?
Im just reading Alpari’s take on this and they say exactly this
Trading with Forex robots on a Demo account is not the same as trading on a Live account.

Depends on the broker and the platform. Demo accounts don’t simulate slippage, so your live results will always be worse than the demo results. Some platforms, such as MT4, allow the broker to early trigger your stops and add artificial slippage - thus MT4 demo account results can be totally different to life results.
Hi i found this article about choosing a expert advisor http://ezinearticles.com/?How-To-Chose-An-Expert-Advisor-Trading-Robot&id=7247015
It’s logical… with a live account there is a delay of processing your order (finding matching trades on the broker’ own liquidity pool or on the market).
For Armada Exchange account is exactly the same as live account. If your not located in London, then I suggest to rent VPS in London, you can get better execution time, but dont worry abot the slippage, it can also be in your
s favor too. Iam satisfied.
Tnx for the tip Robinson. Using the robots is essential to have technical parameters perfect. Every millisecond counts;)
Yes trading robots on demo and live accounts is very different
All the above is correct and possible, but I’ve never had instant execution on a live account occur drastically different from demo accounts. Large slippage movements are rare, but when they do happen, it could alter your results.
Dont use forex robots:55:
Depends on the expert advisor you’re going to use. If EA trades only on closing bars and minimum time frame is M15 such EA is not broker dependent and there will not be visible differences between demo and live data feed.
This is almost, but not quite so, according to my experience. The longer the time frame, the smaller is the difference between demo and live accounts, but the minimum time frame should be 60 minutes. Even then, the difference can be several pip per trade, especially when the MT4 virtual dealer plugin is active.
