Forex robots can be both good and bad. Choosing a good one can be a real challenge sometimes, but if you follow certain rules, it will be easyer to do it.
“Do you think it is good?” is pretty vague. What exactly are your concerns with automated trading in the forex market? Are you talking about a specific EA, or automated trading in general?
Algo trading or “robot” trading has been around since computers became available to traders. It’s evolved over the years to become more and more complex. People that have made money will say its good. People who’ve lost money will say its bad.
The advice I’d give you is to identify what type of strategy the robot is using (trend, range, breakout etc.), and select a currency pair that matches up with that technique. If the EA provider promises something too good to be true, don’t trust them. There is no holy grail. Also, if someone ever did find the holy grail, they definitely wouldn’t sell it for X.99.
