My Name is Dan, I’ve been working my way through the training school, I’ve set up a couple of demo accounts so I can relate the school to real life & put it into practice - it seems to be going well so far (I think!), but I have nothing to reference my progress against.
My question is, are there any traders or mentors in the Oxfordshire area that’d let me sit in with them whilst they are trading? There are so many nuances for the newbies to overcome, it’d be great if someone could ‘guide’ me through them!
I appreciate this is a big ask, but I plan to make this my primary income and want to hit the ground running once I ‘go live’.
I think it’s rather a good idea (albeit maybe something of a long-shot, as locally as that).
I don’t know any independent traders in Oxfordshire. I strongly suspect that if you were willing to travel to London to do this (only an hour or so away, perhaps?) you might hugely increase the chances of finding someone who might offer to let you do that (just because of the overall population-density and greater availability of traders in London).
One way to go about trying to do this could be to identify a “shared office”/“co-working” facility where traders who don’t want to work from home ply their trade to share rent/expenses, and so on. I know there are several in London, because one quite often sees their “available desks” advertised in trading forums. Just a thought …
