Forex vs futures

hello

is it correct that the futures market is more regulated than the forex market ?in the usa i mean.
if so , the futures market is much safer right?

Effectively, the two are both regulated, but in different ways. You can say forex is less so, but that seems like it’s increasing.

The bottom line for any trader is their broker. That’s the risk. Are you going to be able to get your money out and not be ripped off? There have been plenty of futures bucket shops, so no matter which way you go it’s about doing your due diligence and making sure the broker is ethical and solid.

so axept the nfa what alse can i do to check a broker?

Any good website recommend for Future trading ? No idea what is it at all

Look at the broker discussions here on the forum. Just about anyone you can imagine has been covered.

I put together a PDF about the futures market a while back that you may fined helpful: The Essentials of Futures Trading.

lets say that i sell some contract one contract at 10$ for example
and somewere in the world there is some one that is waiting to buy 20 contracts at the same price wil it afect may order? will the price go against me at this case? can somthing like this hapend ?
thanx u all for the answers and i hope its not to difiult to anderstan may poor english

In order for you to sell, there must be someone to buy. The execution of one small trade is very unlikely to have a meaningful impace on prices.

that is exactly what im saing in order for me to sell there must be some one to buy…if i want to sell 1 contract and there is some one hows waiting to buy from the same broker 100 contracts can it be that the broker is waiting for me and for 99 more contracts to be sell so he can execute the buyers order?’ and in that case the price will go agains me righrt?
I hope u anderstand what im traing to say…

Brokers in the futures market do not match internal customer orders directly in-house. All orders go to the exchange where they are executed. Your order could be filled against someone else wanting to trade 1 lot, or as part of another trader’s larger trade. It depends on the order flow at that time. In an active market that 100 lot order will be filled very quickly and you will see absolutely no real impact on price levels. In other words, you probably wouldn’t see price go against you in the case you’ve outlined.
