I have seen on other forums where one can gain experience on strategies and techniques by using certain back testing softwares such as [B]“forextester”[/B]. I would like to know more about this software, such as its capabilities, whether you bought it one off or you have to pay subscription fees periodically.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have used the ForexTester demo and I have found it a very nice piece of software, much better than using some of the MetaTrader “visual” EAs to manually backtest a strategy.
Just type ForexTester into Google, you should easily find their own website where full descriptions, example videos and complete pricing informations are posted. You can also download a demostration version to play with the software yourself, which will be the best way to see if it suits you or not.
im not exactly sure what ‘forextester’ is but im doing a bit of forex testring right now. currently i am testing and recording my results in a blog with the Forex Megadroid. So far ive only made one trade but it was successful!
