I’m not sure I fully understand the example here: Fractals

None of the buy stops on the example would ever be triggered as it is in a down trend. :confused:

Is does it mean that the buy stop is actually the stop loss?

I can see the alligator might have some uses but fractals?
Also, where would you place the stop, 1 tick above the fractal, or 1 pip above the high/low of the candle where the fractal is?

A buy stop is set at a price where a long order is placed.

Yes, at 1 of the up fractals, which would never be hit.
