I just discovered this Forex chat channel and i have to say after hanging out there for just over 3 months my trading has completely changed. Basically everything I learned from babypips and other sites, while helpful, just wasnt making my account grow $$$ā¦in fact i was losing a lot of $$$.
After I explained my situation and trading style to the Lead trader in the chat channel he took me under his wing and really changed my entire perspective on trading and how to actually win! Information is good, but information without guidance is not enough! If you want to actually make money trading I am convinced you will need someone to guide you past the bad information and over simplification of various trading styles.
At this point im actually profitable for the first time in over 1 year!!
Its no wonder 95% of traders failā¦they all follow the same BAD advice from the same websites over and over again. Would you really expect to learn how to trade from a bunch of people posting their so called āwinningā systems on a free message board!? Get REAL people.

I agree with Talon, a lot of what is discussed is for ālearningā and many of the prominent systems talked about on these forums are PROVEN winners. Which is fine by me.
No offense to your post though. If you learned something from this guy then thatās great, he/she may be able to help others out too. I prefer to live through experience however.
Well, like I said beforeā¦theres a huge difference between reading pages of text about tradingā¦something I spent a year doing with little successā¦and having traders with 5-10 years experience actually teaching you how to trade profitablyā¦reading forums just isnt enoughā¦if you donāt realize that now you will never be profitable.
Ask yourself this question. If being profitable simply meant using the so called āprofitableā trading systems discussed on this forum and others on the internet, then why do 95% of traders lose their accounts in the first year ? :eek:
The answer is: Because these systems donāt actually work. You have been fooled into believing that they do work. Let me say thisā¦for starters if you have any indicator on your chartā¦RSI, MACD, Stochastics, or any of the other millions of useless indicators out thereā¦you are already going down the wrong path and you have no idea. Indicators are a fraud.
Itās awfully odd then that many traders successfully use the supposedly-fraudulent indicators to trade and make money.
Indicators are relatively basic math. They cannot be fraud in and of themselves unless the calculations are performed incorrectly. Whether you understand them or how you use them is something different entirely.

what only 5 to 10? how about 30 plus? and a multi million acct? Well fortunately we have a few gooduns like that here. And that one only uses s/r and MAsā¦
For those looking for free solutions, even youtube has good videos of live trades that help you get a mind for what that traderās style is. It may even suit your own. Nick B (do a google search forex4noobs) is a chatroom I frequent which is free. He does live trades there too.
Itās good to have a mentor, but at the same time I beleive developing your own style of trading is more rewarding. I could just as easily pay a subscription to get daily trade signals. Even with a reputed system my initial investment would be payed off; but then looking back, what fun in there is letting someone else do the thinking and I do the button pushing?
I am familiar with the NickB (forex4noobs) style of trading. Thats where Nick sells his system for losing money hand over fist while bashing his users in channel for being too stupid to understand why his system doesnt work. LOL!!!
And if you think im joking, I have the transcripts and emails he sends out! I used to think that site was worthwhile until I realized he was just selling his courses for $149 a piece and had no intention of actually making money really trading.
So a piece of advice Soul786, donāt use any of the systems they promote over at that channel. They donāt work. Even Nick admitted that last month in his daily posts.
haha thanks for the heads up. Iāll be honest, I watch him trade only for his perspective on the markets. I think itās important to view things in a broader perspective.
As for the paying bit, I donāt like paying for teachings like that. Not that I donāt trust them, but just that Iāve been a skeptic of such things. Free is always good, thatās why I join in their discussions.
