FX signals providers

I am new to this forum. I trade the more liquid forex pairs, and occasionally the major global indices. I have mixed success. I hope this forum’s rules will allow this question to be answered. I am seeking a reliable paid service to provide forex signals that I can enter manually through my CFD broker. There are so many “experts” out there trying to get my dollar, and I don’t know which ones to believe. Would anybody here be willing to suggest a forex signals provider that they use, or have had some good reports about ? I know that most of them play mainly the London-New York overlap session, so I will just have to take some and leave some trade opportunities here in Australia if I am to get any sleep.

There can’t be one that’s going to stay reliable, can there? Look at it from the seller’s point of view: if the signals were profitable long-term, why would he ever want to sell them?!

It would be good to be able to buy successful trading signals from individuals or companies that use them profitably and have a basic income from trading in the financial markets.

Unfortunately, this is not possible.

It takes a lot of experience to understand why this is not possible.

In reality, people and companies that sell trading signals make money by selling trading signals, not by using them.

It is very important to understand this well. Otherwise, you can lose a lot of money. Thousands of people do this.

Thanks to all of those who have replied. They are all very good answers, all with a similar message. I feel somewhat humbled, and agree, especially with the concept of … why would you bother selling the signals if they are so profitable ? It’s an industry. I do have a couple of good FX trading strategies, which require constant self discipline to be successful. I could let you know what they are, but I would have to charge you a fee (ha ha). This is a terrific group !

I think you can sleep well and at the same time can make profit consistently if you do swing trading.

Thanks DonaldFx0707. Do you mind telling me, what is your preferred source of info for your swing trading strategy / strategies ?

Hello.
What do you mean by preferred source?

Ignore that question I’ll keep looking around for info on swing trading. Thanks.

I hope not, because “signal provider” and “profitable trader” are mutually exclusive terms.

People able to trade profitably would hardly be incintivized to sell signals?

Particularly not these days when getting funding is easier than ever, so they wouldn’t even have available the flimsy excuse, sometimes trotted out in the past, of “having the skills but not the capital”. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I think people know this, at least subconsciously, but they kind of “don’t want to think about it” because it takes some hope away? :weary:

In my relatively limited experience they simple don’t generate a profit, for various reasons.

Sending me a signal when I am in the middle of a work meeting, no good. Sending a signal when I am asleep, etc etc

If you do try this then I recommend you dummy trade the signals for a while to see if they are actually profitable.
