The next time you open your FXCM Trading Station you will be prompted to do a mandatory upgrade. This upgrade applies to FXCM’s Trading Station and to the MarketScope charting package, both U.S. and U.K. versions, and it’s a good one.
Several features are being upgraded (you’ll get a complete menu, when you start the upgrade), but two of them are major:

[li]the list of tradeable instruments has been expanded to a total of 61, including 47 currency pairs, 11 stock indexes, oil, gold and silver, and

[li]new timeframes have been added to the MarketScope chart package: 2-hour, 3-hour, 4-hour, 6-hour and 8-hour. (Previously, there were no timeframes between 1-hour and 1-day. Many of us have asked FXCM to add the 4-hour timeframe — and now they have done that, and more.)
