GBP and The Scottish Referendum

Hi all,

Concerning the forthcoming Scottish Referendum, analysts say that they would sell GBP if the result was a yes for Scottish Independence.

My questions, if you are currently trading (holding) GBP:

If the vote is no, are you keeping your trades open to see if you can grab more pips?
If the vote is yes, are you planning on selling?
Or will you end your trades one or two days beforehand and see what happens in the vote?

Do you think that weekend news will affect your current GBP trading positions?

Cheers!

(Sorry, I rewrote this post because it was originally too long and went off-topic)

I will be trading the referendum, but i will only trade after the result and the gbp/eur i would have played the doller however the doller is strong, so i think trading it with the euro after will be better

If your in a trade now that would affect the vote and your making $$ , i would close the position and wait until after . If you are in a position and your losing $$ but very little i would close the position before the vote too.
