GBP/USD convert ATR into pips

on the daily chart for the GBP/USD the current ATR is .0093

I want to convert the number .0093 into pips.

how is that done?

Hi Lebill,

In general terms:

For pairs represented by 4 or 5 decimal places: multiplier is 10,000
–> GBPUSD: 1.6000 to 1.6200 => 0.0200 difference = 200 pips

For pairs represented by 2 or 3 decimal places: multiplier is 100
–> GBPJPY: 169.500 to 170.800 => 1.300 difference = 130 pips

For XAUUSD ( Gold ): multiplier is 10
–> 1290.000 to 1300.100 => 10.1 difference = 101 pips

So as Jezzode has pointed out, 0.0093 is 93 pips
