Greetings traders!
MrSkorpio here from the land down under. I’ve recently decided to try my hand at Forex Trading (but not before a hefty amount of research!). The forums are usually a good place to pick up some tips and ask questions, etc.
I have no background in Forex Trading whatsoever - however i recently went to a Greg Seckers workshop (being a bit pro-active) and decided it was something i was interested in…but only after i researched the crap out of what I’m doing and participating in a lot of Demo trades.
It’s not my plan to rely solely on Forex Trading as an income, but to dabble in it and pick up anything where i can. (At this point in time anyway. This may change depending on my success haha)
Any help/tips would be great!
Good to meet you all!
Greetings MrSkorpio and welcome to the BabyPips.com community! We’ve got a lot of information here in the forums and in the School, so I’m sure you will find a few tidbits to help you develop your own trading program. Would love to hear about your experiences with other education programs and your experiences in the markets, so don’t be a stranger! Good luck bud!
Hola Pipcrawler and thanks for the warm welcome. Mate, no experience at all. I’m starting off at “square one” so to speak. If you have any educational programs you recommend please let me know! I’m working my way through the School of Pipology at present - but is there anything you recommend?
Hey MrSkorpio…probably the best thing to do after the School is follow other experienced traders that consistently keep up a trading journal or thread. When you finish the School, that stuff will make sense and then you can start to pick out what works for you and leave the rest. The biggest thing to do though is keep a trading journal. It’s simple, but it’s also the hardest thing to do for most newbies because of the discipline and dedication to maintain it consistently (and probably why many will not become profitable long term). A well kept trading journal will teach you more than anyone else can because it’s an honest reflection of what you’re doing, and if done consistently, helps maintain the focus required to be successful.
