Getting permission denied error when loading ICT indicators into MT4 on FXCM demo

I was able to download the file no problem but when I tried to extract them to the expert/indicators folder in MT4, I get an access denied errror. I can’t seem to find an option to let me copy the file into it. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

When you download the indicator file, is it in a ZIP format? If so, are you able to extract the file to other folders or to the desktop? If you are able to copy the indicator file to the desktop with no problem, is the problem that you cannot open the indicators folder for MT4? This is the file path you should use: “C:\Program Files (x86)\FXCM MetaTrader 4”

Thank you. That worked. I also had a security feature on my computer that was blocking the installation. Everything is installed and working fine. Thank you again for the fast response.

I am having similar problems with ICT’s indicators. I have added them to the experts\indicators\ folder; however when I restart MT4 they are just not there.

Sent this also to the FXCM customer support email, but not heard anything back yet…
