After months of research, and lots of demos, I think I will go live with GFT Australia. Any comments about them? Other then a representative?
May I ask why you choose them? Im currently looking for broker too. I have not research GFT honestly, but I heard they are good.
Well I have not chosen them yet, but…They are a big company with good capital. They have international branches. (So far) good customer services, the Dealbood 360 is good software, they also have a wed based trading platform that ties into the downloaded account. Plus the 2-3 pip spread on majors and other standard features…
Well I trade live with Gft, and I’ve found it to be ok, just ok. Customer service is not the best and I once I had my stop loss hit twice and the trade was not close.
Software is great and I think it’s a firm with good reputation… Give it a shot.
Regards
I have been trading live with GFT Australia for the past couple of months. I decided to go with them because their web based platform (Dealbook Web) is compatible with Mac OS which I am using. Considering it is web based, I find it stable and reliable. I heard their main platform is even better and has more features. You should be safe with them.
Thanks Ceva, sounds good. Their main platform is the “Dealbood 360” download it and have a look, it is quite good. I like the fact that a position opened on the Dealbook360 is then (logically) also open and accessable on the web based platform.
There are brokers who are having different trading systems. Although they have trading platforms, which all the brokers use still they try for some new trading software’s so that their clients make good profits from this market. The same I have seen with AVAFX they are new in this market and soon going to start MT4 for their clients.
I have been using GFT’s demo account for a few weeks now, I am very pleased with them. I will be going live soon, and will be using them. Customer service has been great so far.
Last week I emailed customer service to ask if they allowed straddles aka hedging - never received a reply. I wasn’t going to download their platform if that feature wasn’t available but now I will never know. And that’s ok because if someone can’t answer a simple question then what happens if i have a complex one? d.
Thats funny, I have always recieved a response through e-mail, not to mention they usually follow up with a phone call. Are you sure your e-mail got through?
Why dont you try calling the toll free 800 number? I
m sure you will find their service to be top notch.
I have randomly called them to ask questions, and I have called other brokers with the same questions just to see who was willing to take the time to help me, and what the customer service was like. I have to tell you GFT was one of the best I delt with.
Just my 2 cents.
