GMT Conversion

Hello All,

There is an EA that needs an input of GMT offset vs server time but unsure how to go about the procedure.

After reading some documentation on one EA they say that if the server time is +3 and GMT is 10:00 then enter 17 for the offset. ??? I’m not typically slow on the uptake but the GMT offset has me scratching my head.

Anyone have a clear explanation of how to go about this.

This EA (EA Genius V1.01) also has an entry point for which trading time frame to use. Its default setting is 1. I assume that 1,2,3,4 apply to London, New York etc. Anyone know which number applies to which zone?

Did the provider of the EA not have a help file or support for the EA? Not sure how the did their math in your example, but just apply it and see if it works the way you need it.
