I’ve heard a lot of good things about Go Markets, but It has been posted on several different threads and forums that Go Markets will not add U.S. residents, so being a U.S. citizen but not a resident, I decided to go straight to the cow rather than just accept the kool-aid as milk. Pretty much I stated that on different forums I had heard rumors that U.S. residents cannot open new accounts, and I inquired about U.S. citizens residing in foreign countries and here is the response I got-
Hi Brian,
Thank you for your inquiry.
Please be advised that this is right, we are unable to accept clients residing in the United States of America due to the CFTC regulations. However if you are an American citizen living abroad (so your residency is not in the United States of America) you are able to open an account with GO Markets. Hope this helped.
If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us again.
Many thanks and kind regards
Lisa
NEW ACCOUNTS
I hope this is useful to many of the American Ex-pats reading this forum. I do have to add, too, that even with the time difference from where I work and the time in AUS. Go Markets responded to my email faster than my own mother does.
