Yeah I thought it was dumb that they even offered the pull down menu option, only to be denied after submitting.

Are they not monitoring IP addresses? Selecting a different country might work. Not sure what requirements they may have for identification verification purposes.

i tried that and all the other things that hide your IP it don’t work, even if it did and they catch you? and what will they do with your funds?

If I open an account with this broker or IC Markets with my international passport… does anyone know how to open international bank account? I am residing in the United States, but I can not open bank account in my home country because they have a lot of issues with international transfers

FXTM Broker does not allow clients from USA, but they allow deposit and withdrawl with bitcoin! so they will never know the funds are coming from usa?

are you talking about this broker

Yeah but if they required you to upload documents for a withdrawal, then you still would be screwed even with btc withdrawal.

DISCREET ARRANGEMENTS

One thing which has emerged from time-to-time is that these
offshore brokers are enjoined from “soliciting” U.S. persons.

Accounts which may be established through direct private
negotiations with a broker, may be more likely to see favorable
treatment.

“Unsolicited” contact with a broker may result in establishment
of a business relationship; but any broker publicly soliciting or
a website which does not implement some "geo national restrictions"
could become the target of “nanny state” attack.

Internet websites are an advertising or “soliciting” medium; and so
it is not surprising that the default public response is “no U.S. persons”…

Let’s just remember that, and also that “the nanny” is watching public
forums such as this one…

etoro has open up to u.s. traders but i think only for cryptocurreny trading, here’s the link

scroll down to FAQ and click on Which states are currently supported by eToro?

EDIT: they have a very bad review history

https://www.forexpeacearmy.com/forex-reviews/3731/www.etoro.com-forex-broker

got another broker that take u.s. traders

NOTE: look like another company that uses turnkeyfx

just what i figure, cryptorocket and eaglefx has the same back office and damn near the same website, not the same company but uses the same broker provider

HERE’S A FAIRLY FACTUAL REVIEW FOR EAGLEFX

I note only that commissions are quoted at $6 per round turn, as
compared to Coinexx $2 per round turn.

[EDIT] their BitCoin deposit method is confusing and the relevant
FAQ page is:
http://faq.eaglefx.com/2-deposits/how-do-i-submit-a-bitcoin-deposit/
I am hoping Instacoin is not required but, as I say, their instructions
are confusing.

[EDIT] I checked with their online chat, and it appears Instacoins is NOT REQUIRED, so any Bitcoin wallet transfer can be used. Kate was the support
agent:

"Your instructions are not clear; can I send Bitcoin from Coinbase, for example. Do I need to use Instacoin ??

Kate
It is not mandatory to use Instacoins, you may use a Bitcoin wallet provider of your choice.
"

[edit] UPDATE tried transfer all $27.12 from EagleFX USD “vault”
which appeared, as promised, after
6 confirmations on the BTC. Tried from the Vault, that $27.12
into the live account and “Not enough money”. Instead $27.00 I discovered,
did transfer immediately into the account; so if I had tried $27.11 it would
likely have worked since the test was probably remaining <= 0 rather than <0 but,
hey, there are bugs in all software LOL … So far, so good, so now I
can see something about execution latencies, etc…

SHAPESHIFT.IO NOW REQUIRES DETAILED KYC

For fear of the “grey area” of the law, Shapeshift.io moves from
anonymity to full detailed, documents upload, KYC.

Shapeshift.io permits input of one Crypto coin, and output
into another Crypto coin type. That is, technically, “trading”
and has been a useful frictionless anonymous way of
moving from one coin to another – but no more, unless you
give them KYC details.

What is the world coming to, I ask?

[edit] here are the issues in an article:

[edit] Voorhees has said “…it sucks…”
Here is a video on that subject with Voorhees comments:

i sign up for account and i also notice their withdrawal say, bitcoin and coinbase/paypal and mastercard by instacoin, the coinebase/paypal got me a little confuse

EDIT: they also offer Same Day Withdrawals like cryptorocket witch is a big plus

i think we need to update our list to include all brokers that accept U.S. traders how else are we suppose to find these brokers. babypips is how i found my current offshore brokers

i don’t use forexbrokerz to get my reviews but i do check on brokers from time to time and one alarming thing they posted about eaglefx is

" Related to other shady brokers

Actually, EagleFX does not provide much information about the company behind the operation – its website doesn’t feature a contact number, only an address: 8 Copthall, Roseau Valley 00152, The Commonwealth of Dominica.

Our research revealed that a number of other shady brokers claim to be registered at the same address. These include Capital Investment Holdings Ltd., which was blacklisted by the Swiss financial watchdog FINMA, Trade5000 flagged by the Polish d by KNF, as well as some of the brands of the notorious Options Tech Limited - Cryptex Markets, NB International, UBS investments, Unitedmarkets4you. Most of these brands are also blacklisted by one or several EU financial regulators – for example, the UK’s FCA has issued a warning against Unitedmarkets4you."

just doing some more researxch on eaglefx and cryptorocket

EAGLEFX PRICING NOT SAME, MAYBE BETTER THAN TURNKEY

Set up a live account; am pushing BTC in. Comparing TurnkeyForex
and EagleFX side-by-side on GBP/CAD (just to be difficult) EagleFX
on MT4, is sometimes showing lower spreads, although spreads >10 pips
right now, in both cases, at market open are not tradably tight yet…

[edit] EagleFX does not appear to have the raw volatile Tick rate of
TurnkeyForex and they are surely not close to identical,
from what I can see so far…

[edit] Ticks on MT4 side-by-side
