Spot gold was at $1,686.55 at in Asia after swinging between gains and losses. Gold saw $1,694.81 yesterday, the most expensive since Dec. 18, Gold February flat at $1,686.80, after yesterday climbing to $1,695.40, also the highest price since Dec. 18. Silver flat at $31.0281 after rising to $31.495 yesterday, the highest since Dec. 19 ,Platinum rose 0.2 % to $1,569.25 , while palladium was little changed at $706.25 after climbing to the highest level since March yesterday.

Spot gold rose as much as 0.4 % to $1,653.05 , and was at $1,649.30 at in Asian hours , Cash bullion slumped to $1,625.85 on Jan. 4, the cheapest since Aug. 21, Gold February delivery advanced 0.2 % to

$1,649.30 Cash silver rose 0.2 % to $30.2073 , after dropping to the lowest since August on Jan. 4. Spot platinum was little changed at $1,556.50 after three days of losses. Palladium was also little changed at $669.75 .
