Hello, I’m Christopher UK London a dabbling newby trader and I have been on and off for a few years now.
Recently my love for spread betting has brought me back to FTSE and Gold markets to try and start with £100 and build up to a decent size trading pot of £3-5000. Previously I have concentrated on Forex with Aus/Usd being a favourite. After removing my initial £100 the sky is the limit but I now have aspirations of doing this full time. Currently I work as an IT Consultant and would ideally like to make the first career change of my life. Previously I have made lots of pips and lost lots of pips and my first priority is to minimise my risk to 2% of trading pot so I can keep trading and expect to take a few losses along the way.
I’m back here to learn as much as I possibly can daily and I’m not expecting that to ever stop. A recent visit to an elder who was surprisingly to myself a retired gentleman but full time trader. My elders setup was impressive enough to inspire me back into FTSE.
Currently I’m setting up my spreadsheet to map my progress and set my entry and exit points and record the stop losses etc. At this stage I’m looking for a trading method at suits me as I have to admit I currently just follow a couple of well known FTSE Analysts who provide a tip email daily. Between that and using my very limited knowledge and experience I realise I’ve a lot to learn before this will be a day job.
Currently looking at a head and shoulders on Nzd/Usd but quite tentative. Any help, ideas and criticisms welcomed please everyone. Here’s to many countless hrs and some more
