I know nothing about the world economy. How it works. How one countries effects anothers etc etc. Does anyone know where i can start to learn about all this, any good books???
Try anything about Macroeconomy, and also the big importers/exporters out there.
I think the main markets are US, the Euro zone and Japan.
I do not know if this is good, but it is free and might be a starting point:
Macroeconomics - Wikibooks, collection of open-content textbooks
Here is a bit more:
Here are a couple of good books to get you started:
“Day trading and Swing trading the currency markets” Kathy Lien.
Has a good section on fundamental strategies and stresses the need to look at world developments through the book.
“Currency trading and Internarket Analysis” Ashraf laidi
Also pretty good. It gives you an insight into how bonds affect currencies / stocks etc. You get an idea of how money flows around the world. There’s an online version of this book (an online workbook) that is more current and includes the panic of 2008.
