Hello FX World,
My name is Florian, I’m from Romania (sunny Constanta, Black Sea baby :D) and recently I’ve decided to take my Forex knowledge to the next level. I’m not really a newbie when it comes to FX, I’ve participated in a few seminars FX-related in the last 2 years, open some demo accounts but I’ve never taken this subject seriously…maybe because of poor time management (I can’t say I didn’t have the time, I DID) but mainly because of my fear of the unknown.
Nevertheless, I’m planning to change all that and learn as much as I can and give FX a shot at least. I must add that I have some experience when it comes to these kinds of “activities” that involve some degree of chance. I played poker quite a lot for the last 2+ years (not so much lately though) and I came to the conclusion that poker and FX have many similarities.
Like in poker, discipline and a steady money management system are essential to succeed in the Forex market. Money management CAN make the difference between winners and losers so I plan to build a sound MM system that can help me become profitable in the long run. I’ve already deposited 100$, made some transactions, made some mistakes of course, learned from them (EXTRA important imo) and put into practice what I’ve learned.
By actively participating in the forums, I hope to further expand my knowledge, discover my misconceptions about the FX (leaks as we say in poker), correct them and repeat.
