Greetings to all from Osoyoos B.C. Canada

Not really a lot to say other than I am a 58 year old male that would like to learn a new way to hopefully make a little extra. I really have not much experience in trading, although I have traded a few stocks online ,but my senses were tingling big time before the crash and I got totally out a month before the crash.

Just after the crash I started playing the physical PM market. I was fortunate enough to pick some ounces back then and have ridden the ups and downs. Have not lost any money yet simply because I bought in at 14 and change and of course we have not revisited that area so as far as I am concerned I am happy. However as you all are aware silver is a real roller coaster haha. Anyway I have been entrepreneurial in nature my whole life and could think of nothing more thrilling than figuring out how to participate in the FX market.

I was looking at the infinite prosperity course however after searching online to see what others had to say about the course I came across this website and decided to start my journey here.

Cheers

Yes I can see that it will take patience and focus to get to the point where I can at least understand enough to start trading on the simulator. I have just started looking into this in the last 48 hours so I really am a newbie. However I will say that I want this bad and so I plan to be in for the long hall.

I have been viewing and collecting videos from Youtube… however there are a lot to consider and there seems to be a fair amount of what FEELS like junk information to me even though I have limited knowledge on the subject. Anyway the reason for this email is I would like to request if one of you could answer the following question for me.

… Is it possible to find a broker that will let you start with only 3500 to 5000 dollars and use no leverage?

Thanks in advance for any and all information you folks many offer

Hi Moneyhound,

I’m both a fellow newbie and a ‘neighbour’ per se, residing in Vancouver, BC. Some friends from my church got married in Osoyoos last year. Small world. Welcome aboard.

Cheers,

Michael

I think the minimum norm is 10:1 leverage. However you can easily determine your leverage by trading smaller contracts. It’s essentially the same.

Let me know if you need an in depth explanation on this.
