I have come across this book for technical analysis and it is quite costly. I have looked at some of the reviews on Amazon. I would like to know if anyone out there has read this or if you could reccomend a better book for technical analysis. This book covers all chart patterns and the findings have all been emperically tested.
Its more of a reference text, not really a book you could read from end to end. The research is meticulous. The author has used huge numbers of charts and isolated an almost equally huge number of patterns by computer. Each pattern is treated in a standardised way -

Its thorough and a great reference manual, but it is very practical too. You can get a flavour of the content and how he works at thepatternsite.com. He mentions Fibonacci a couple of times but no other technical indicators: his charts don’t even carry MA’s. If your strategy demands accurate pattern recognition and trading tactics, this is an invaluable guide.
I would also recommend Street Smarts by Connors & Raschke for some applied use of less well known set-ups.
