I have always traded ‘manually’, so auto execution is new to me and I would like to explore that. I’m planning to open up a demo account and test out some strategies/algos before I use it on my live account. My broker has listed these auto execution partners - FX Auto, Ninja Trader, Strategy Runner, and Advanz. Has anyone used those? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

NinjaTrader is a very useful tool for introducing yourself to automation. They have a free forex data feed through gain capital and you can use their wizard (complete with video demonstrations!) to build your strategies if you don’t know how to code. This is also a really great way to LEARN how to code, since you can build your strategy with the wizard and then look at the commands the wizard is generating on the fly. There are certain advanced operations that you can only achieve by handcoding, but most systems are really a simple set of if/then statements.
Obviously, MetaTrader is a great platform as well, but IMO bad for an introduction to coding, since the documentation isn’t what you’d call user friendly if you’re just getting started.
most of EAs isvery useful tool for introducing yourself to automation too.And MOST OF EAs never really really give our freedom in forex.Let c how bad ninja in spyforexsystem blogspot.
I’m not talking about an EA. I and I believe the OP are talking about a platform that allows you to create your own EA according to your own design by coding it from scratch and, in the case of NT, using a wizard to lay down the structure without necessarily knowing how to code.
don t be lazy and learn to code.
Start with mq4 it is simple and very well documented over the internet.
It is easier to start with NinjaTrader because you can use strategy wizard to build strategies, and at any given time you can unlock the code and see it yourself and learn from it.
