Since we all use different brokers with the Scion Forex EA, it must be the EA thatā€™s not taking trades, rather than some brokers trading and others notā€¦

Yes, the AutoTrader might not take a trade for three days or more. This EA does not over trade like so many other EAā€™s do that end up blowing out your account. It waits for the right conditions before it takes a trade.

One of the things that Iā€™ve learned about Forex trading is thisā€¦ Itā€™s just as important to know when not to trade, as it is to know when to trade. By having this kind of discipline and patience when trading, increases the odds in your favor to becoming a successful trader. :slight_smile:

I believe itā€™s the same EA and works on both, but will require a new paid password to continue after a month.

I have a EURJPY sell open for 1 lot and a buy open at .10 lot. Why is there such a large variation in lot sizes?

I believe itā€™s because you are losing your margin with more active trades and if you set the EA to automatically set lot size, then that might happen. Just a thought.

That is good to know. Does anyone else have such a variation? Was the lot size intended to be the same? If so, would it be better to select a fix lot size setting?
