Have heard good things about scion forex autotrader, has anyone tried it before?

I had same lot size in all of my trades. I have fixed 0.05

Well, with all of that action on the first trading day of the week, the end result on my trading account was -3.5 Pips. A bit frustrating to say the least. But that’s the nature of Forex trading. There will be good days and bad days. What matters the most, is that the good days outweigh the bad days in the long run. This is Scion Forex’s motto!

I think those of us who started trading on a live account going into September, got a little spoiled with that September 11-0 record! :8:

In 10 weeks of trading with the EA, last week was the first losing week… -48 Pips. Hopefully this week will be a positive week for all of us!

My results for today trades:

NZDUSD +24
GBPUSD canceled
EURJPY +31
USDCAD -29

Total: +26

Good week start!

I just saw this (8:45 a.m. 10/13) on the Scion web page:

“Scion Forex has changed it’s servers as of October 13 2014. Because of this, the IP has also been changed. All clients that were using the old ServerIP: 162.220.163.158 must replace it with the new ServerIP…”

So, you’ll want to go to the web page and read the rest of it.

I got that note on EA that i need to change IP. I changed and now my EA is blockes for suspicious logins, this is really annoying. Already a second time. Theres should be place where i can remove autoconnection after three or two times.

Thats weard. I ended up with negative result. Cause i had two EURJPY, One was long and one was short.

I got two opposite trades on eurjpy as well. Don’t know why…

My results for today:

NZDUSD Buy … +50
USDCAD Sell … -29
EURJPY Sell … -52
EURJPY Buy … +32

Net result = + 1 pip. Wow.
I knew that first EJ was in trouble when it was negative and the EA took an opposite position on the same pair an hour later.
Can others confirm they have similar trades? Discrepancies seem to continue.

My experience with this EA so far (Oct 1 - present) is that it treads water, not sinking, not swimming (almost exactly).

PS: Got the IP email alert, changed the IP in my EA, all is working properly.

Gyazo - 68ee6f78b1e69e818aab66d71844640c.png these were my trades for today.

It was a good thing you didn’t have to pay round trip broker commission on micro lots.

I’ve had no trades today. :frowning:

Neither did I…

I havent got any trades after monday.

+9 pips profit on EUR/JPY.

Nothing here yet. (8:30 pm Pacific Coast time). I’m losing confidence in this EA. I have another account with FXCM. Lots of good trades going on there.

I got two EUR/JPY trades for a total of +6.3 pips. Who is your broker again tunucks?

Cool BBatis. I use 3, Tallinex, ICMarkets and FXCM.

+7 pips for me

That was a brilliant move by scion forex to exit. I also figured that it EUR/JPY was exhausted which it was as we can see. I got their alert saying it had hit a critical level. Looks like they were correct about that.

I signed up with Tallinex and got no trades…hmmm…

Thanks for the feedback tunucks. So you got +9 pips with Tallinex? If so, I’m wondering why I only got +6.3 pips with Tallinex! I understand it may have to do with how fast these trades are being executed. Who is your VPS?

I eventually want to open an account with ICMarkets as well, once I’m able to trade with bigger lots.
