Have heard good things about scion forex autotrader, has anyone tried it before?

Same results here, +2.5 pips, not lose trade so good trade, but this continues so slow…

Another +3 pips on GBP/JPY, now up for a total of +6 pips in the past 12 hours. Its good to see that they are taking more trades.

Same here +6 pips on two gbp/jpy trades. Their newsletter did mention they will be focusing on the gbp/jpy currency pair this week.

Second GBPJPY trade was +6.6 pips here, so the total for the 2 trades today was +9.1 pips

Two GBPJPY trades
+2.7 pips (sell)
+6.6 pips (buy)

I got two GBP/JPY +3 on one and +4 on the other. +7 pips total. Impressed on my second day using the Scion Autotrader.

first loss for the week for me GBPUSD buy -28.5 pips

Followed up quickly with a sell GBPUSD +2.2

Lets see how the rest of the week goes to see if we can end the week positive

not a good day another -24.9 pip loss on sell GBPJPY

Yes, really bad day here too:
1º trade: GBPUSD -28.2
2º trade: GBPUSD +2.2
3º trade: GBPJPY -27.1

Since October start, the winners are very small (between 1 and 8 pips) and the loses are big (about 30 pips), this way the results can not be good… if this continues some weeks more I will be out…

I didn’t get the GBPUSD -28.2 trade. Either my VPS went down without being aware of it, or Scion Forex is still in the process of stabilizing the AutoTrader interface.

I’ve gotten 4 trades for the month of November so far…

GBPJPY +0.18
GBPJPY +2.91
GBPJPY -1.41
GBPJPY -25.50

Exactly what I was thinking, bbus.
My results today
GBPJPY Buy @ 0217 hrs +1.8 pips
GBPUSD Buy @ 0550 hrs -28.5 pips
GBPUSD Sell @ 0817 hrs -1.9 pips

And it seems that my free trial has expired. I thought it was going to be extended for an additional month. Did I miss something?

I have been member now for month. And i got few winners with 1-5pips, but my losses are about 3000% more than my winnings. I got 2 month extension for my account, but i think i will be out earlier. Scion has seen their best days.

And what i have seen those trades that are winners they have closed way too early. few of them have continued 100+ pips. But loosing trades they dont manage, they just let them hit to SL.

EDIT: Recent trades from Scion to me: Gyazo - 8be5d8e6a2a816e2bee1b6443d59976b.png

Sorry to hear the results are not as expected. I was out after my trial expired and watching this thread to determine if it would be worthwhile jumping in again. It looks like I need to continue my search (not an easy task) for a good signal service and a good EA. Any ideas?

Lost money here too on the GPBUSD buy. It appeared they reversed their bullish prediction with either SL or manual exit and re-entered the same pair going bearish and should have stuck with the bearish TP, which would have been about +30 pips, but closed way too early and gain only +1 pip. I am starting to question their expertise due to same pair reversal and not sticking with the previous lowest support level, which would break about even.

I think this is worst ratio ever. They risk 20-30pips to gain 1-3 pips profit. At least my pic looks like it.

GBPJPY +3.6 pips today

My biggest concern at this point is not their traders’ expertise, not their system’s stability and not the timely receipt of their signals; it is the fact that, at the moment, we need about TEN winning trades for every loss just to break even! No matter what trading methodology, system or philosophy you subscribe to, that’s just terrible and ensures failure. Maybe this has been an anomaly, a 5-week long anomaly, and SFA really does make money, but so far the results from SFA have been sfa. Apologies for my rudeness.

Other bad day with Scion, like usual for the last weeks, 3 trades in total for today:
1º trade: GBPJPY +4 Pips
2º trade: GBPUSD -30 Pips
3º trade: GBPJPY +4 Pips

Net result: -22Pips

Scion contunues with very small winners and big losses (risk/reward is almost 10:1) :frowning:

I think that is incorrect what you are saying. The stop-loss and take profit changes as the trade goes along. I saw it move as soon as the profits had risen. When the profits get into the plus side, it extended the profit target.

Clearly they ARE managing the trades, which is good, but unfortunately the results have been dim for over a month and we currently need 10 winners to compensate for every loser +/-

Other loss in GBPJPY today with -25 Pips…

And there is one opened buy trade in USDCAD, and in 30 minutes is the NFP news… I hope they dont maintain the trade opened during this news, because this can move the price a lot and the result can be big loss or big win, but this is gamble not trading…
