I personally have not recommended forex to anyone randomly but I have had some friends ask me about it. It usually ends there though. I give them resources like this website but I don’t hear from them again. I feel like if someone was truly interested in learning forex, their questions would be more sophisticated than “how do I learn it?”
Have you tried recommending forex trading to anyone?
Yes, I introduced a friend to my pro trader manager early January, who helped set up his account My friend only wanted to invest a lump sum, as his interest in FX was only on and off playing around on a demo account sometimes.
He’s made about $200 profit both months by the end of February, so we’re still friends.
I can remember two occasions. On one occasion it led to nowhere. On another occasion it didn’t lead to forex, but she started passive investing and DCA into some kind of fund.
But, I’m not trying to encourage people to trade at all anymore.
When I’m excited about something, and they don’t show the same enthusiasm, it deflates some of my own enthusiasm. So, I prefer to keep it to myself.
Yeah, I’ve had a few pals reach out to me about it. I usually just point 'em in the right direction by sharing some resources, but they don’t usually follow through. I guess they just weren’t that keen on diving into forex.
yes i have told people about Forex trading especially because it was something i thought would be very hard to learn. but from all i have read so far i know that it is just a matter of time and i will come to mater the skills
I recommended Forex to many people but not all of them are in profit. Some of the traders are still glued to the market regardless of negative balance factor.
Me too. I’ve suggested it to friends and family and one is actively trading now as far as I know. With patience and commitment, I think Forex trading as a good way to make additional money, increase savings, if not a career change.
Pretty much like you. I tell people I trade forex and a lot of them don’t even know what forex is. After show explanation of what it is, they’re impressed and that about where they all drew the line for me.
I have not met a single person that would ask beyond that point to learn, or showed interest to try it.
