Beginner Questions

Hello everyone,

Just introducing myself to the group. I have been studying Forex for about 4 months. I have a real acct sitting, and I have a few demo accts. Lately I’ve been trying to create a dependable system. I’ve looked at some of the systems posted at this forum and will demo a few. I might be on to something with my own system and will share it after more tests.

A few questions for the elders:

Does anyone here trade Forex full time and/or professionally?
Does anyone here concern themselves with deep fundamental research and analysis?
How beneficial do you find Gann systems and Elliot wave theory to be?

I hope to become a full time trader. I think if I have to spend hours working, I’d rather do it for myself. Forex is risky, but at least it gives me independence. After all, all employment comes with the risk of termination.
All businesses face the possibility of failure. But am I chasing fool’s gold?

I can see how they might benefit a time or two.
