Hi everyone. I recently attended a free trading workshop where someone had said a motivational speech… I don’t know whether it was to upsell but it really struck a chord with me. Y’know, he talked about thinking about generational wealth and building upon it, doing things you want to or always wanted to do… it instantly pulled me in, but looking at my financial situation it wouldn’t be a smart thing to do. I would like to think he has my best interests in mind but I do understand that they run a business, and a deal I can’t afford…
Why would I spend thousands of dollars when I only have barely over 7000 in my savings account?
Yet I still want to trade, but I suppose I will do without the program that they have offered me.
I know it won’t be easy and it’ll take me time, but I believe I DO have the time to learn (which I have already started with the school program you guys have offered thank you very much by the way). I want to be a better person and all these things and I want to be financially free and do all of the things and be a productive person. I want to learn how to trade forex. Hopefully as some reinforcement stating my goal here will help me persevere…
I’m currently 25 and would like to do this full time but I am currently a full time student.
Ask yourself why someone would be selling a seminar if they have a successful Forex trading system. The answer is, they make their living from selling BS that doesn’t work to over-eager newbies.
You’ll be better off saving your money. And trading it yourself once you develop a profitable strategy. Everything you need to become a successful trader is free online. Just add hard work and stir…
I’m a full-time student too. But I spend more time on Forex than on my coursework, haha. I’m looking to work as a prop trader when I graduate next year, and eventually go full-time and maybe start my own fund.
Thank you… I would like to become a a daytrader while i’m in school full time. I wanted to ask what trade platform do you recommend and where can I get a demo account after I completely finish reading up on the school of pipsology.
Hello and welcome to our forums! I’m glad you’re able to learn from our School of Pipsology. Just keep on studying the basics of forex, figure out which tools you’re comfortable trading with, test your trade strategy/plan with a demo account, then move on to live trading if you’re consistently profitable. At the same time, you can continue learning by reading up on trade blogs and trading psychology articles. Good luck!
