Hello from England

Hello,

I just wanted to say ‘hi’ to everyone from sunny England. I’m a newbie who’s still working through the School of Pipsology, and obviously want to start trading one day. My background is in the physical sciences so I find the mathematical aspects of Forex very interesting. It’s obviously a long road to becoming a good (or even average) trader but I feel like I’m in it for the long haul - if nothing else I think it’s an interesting intellectual challenge, with the added bonus that one day you could earn money from it.

I’m in my early thirties so hopefully not too old to get into Forex. The dream is to one day make a living from it, or just make a little extra money to help fund my cycling.

Best wishes,
cycledude

Greetings Cycledude and welcome to the community! Early thirties definitely isn’t to old to get started; I actually think in one way, it’s better than starting earlier because you are more mature and probably know better that anything worth achieving takes a lot of work. Good luck in the School and hoping to hear more from you when you graduate!
