I am a complete idiot in Forex Trading. know why? i ve attended 3-4 seminars on Saturdays when there is no active trading. I read many manuals and e books ,yet i do not know when and how to enter a trade and how to place an order,stop loss, take profit, buy and sell limit,with my demo account.its always error galore.somebody out there, pls hold my hand and show me the way. Thanks.
download mt4, from a good broker like fxcm or fxopen, install it, and open a demo, and click on buy or sell.

I’m not sure what books you’ve read this far but you should consider buying ‘‘getting started in currency trading’’ by michael duane archer.
It’s really cheap unlike forex books that teaches you a specific strategy that can easily cost 5 times more.It won’t really teach you any specfic strategy but it will give you a good solid foundation which you can built on
It’s the first book i ever bought and it cost me like 20$ i think.If you don’t understand everything at first don’t worry you get there just read it.

Forex for Dummies I hear covers the basics.
This forum has been a replacement for mony other paid ebooks out there … just make sure you at least skim read everything in here … and in the final stage, the Internet is your library!

Yeah, but it is like swimming without water. Good to check if a strat works and to get familiar with the platform, but then I’d go live asap. If ppl do demo for too long, I doubt they will ever become profitable in the real world of sharks, piranhas, herrings and your money swimming in one basin, lol.
I would recommend that you trade the demo account and put your entire self inside it. Best learning is to practice.
