please i am a newbie, i dont know if this is the right place to ask this question but i seriously need help. why am i always encountering losses in my trade, is there anything i am not doing well?
Do you follow any trading strategies? On what basis do you place your trades?
You didn’t tell anything about your trading strategy and approach. Successful trading requires deep understanding of the market and skills. Tell more about what you doing.
you would have to give more information, are you using a proven strategy, are you using proper risk to reward, where are you getting your information from, have you read Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas? Just a few that you need to elaborate on. More than happy to help
i am demo trading after receiving training on forex, i observed i have been encountering loses and hope to correct it before the actual trading, i really dont know of any trading strategy and i am i am open to any effective one. thank you
thank you very much. I am actually demo trading now and hope to real trade, but i dont know of any proven strategy and i am open to anything to help me trade effectively. Thank you
Okay maybe that is why you are incurring losses, a strategy is very important for the trading, now by strategy I do not mean any fix or pre-defined method that people are already following for trading. Your strategy can be anything based on your analysis and knowledge, and moreover you should find out the reasons why are you making those losses, you can solve a problem only if you know the reason why it happened.
trading on demo account is a good decisions but its true that trading demo account for a long time is very much difficult and need a very long time patience.
To help answer your question maybe you can explain further how you trade? (I.e what makes you take a trade, how do you set your stop losses / take profits and what pairs do you trade?)
Before any help can be extended answer the following:
- Have you finished the course?
- Have you practiced on a demo account? If yes, for how long?
- How long have you been trading?
Hello.
I also encountered same problem when I started trading 2 years ago.
My tip: Define your valid setup clearly and wait for it at any cost.
Wait. This can help you. This is the only way.
