I’m a noob who’s experimenting with Oanda’s platform but I’m confused about their fees and I’m hopeful someone here can help.
So I notice on the desktop platform in ‘Activity’ it lists all my actions. There’s a Price column, where I assume the cost of each transaction is included (right?). I see that for some actions, such as adjusting the stop-loss of an open position, the cost is 1 (presumably a unit), however after a few of these small fees my Net Asset Value and Margin Available remain unaffected by these. Therefore, how or where can I see my ‘account balance’ as it were, where the fees (assuming they are fees) in the price column, have been taken into account? I’ve checked in Account details, and no charges have appeared in there, either. What’s going on?
If Oanda don’t take these fees immediately, how/when will they charge me for them? Do I get an an invoice or something?
Finally, I apologise for the noobishness of this post. Thanks, Pete.
