Here's a Script to detach charts in MT4

A little something I found lost depth within the vaults of time. Its a script to detach your chart from MT4 for mulit-screen users. Simple enough the undock chart.ex4 is a script and goes in the script folder. Detach.dll goes in the library folder.

Not my work, found it somewhere out-there on the net a while ago and forgot i had it until I was searching around for some old files. Hope someone enjoys it

Hey man!
You have to put ext4 file into metatrader 4 “scripts” folder.
You have to put .dll file into metatrader 4 “libraries” folder
You have to change the filename of *.dll to MT4iConnect.dll
You have to allow “import dll” in metatrader options (ctrl+o) strategy tab - it is potentially dangerous to allow unknown dlls imports (DLLs are compiled and ready-to-run programs that can damage your system/delete files and stuf/install trojans ) those files will run with the same privileges as your metatrader.

  • be careful when allowing this function in metatrader, do it on demo account first, and have a system backup unless you trust the file.

hey man thank you also is there a way to set it so if i close my mt4 it reloads my undocked charts to where i had them? ( so say i have 3 charts on 3 diffrent screens they all reopen to them screens insted of redocking into mt4)?
