Hi, from Brisbane, Australia. I have been meaning to learn more about forex for years and decided this is the year. Recently have started buying ETF shares and reading up on forex and now have a demo MT4 account. I want to learn the right strategy for me and practice until I am confident to use real money. Hope to make some good contacts here and learn a lot.

Yes, that’s the right approach to becoming successful. Aim to also develop a strict process that you can apply for every trade. So it’s like sending trading robots out into the market.
BTW. Aim to move to MT5 as it’s an updated version to MT4.
Thanks for the advice. Will read up on all the resources on the site and look into upgrading to MT5. I got the demo via Pepperstone, so I guess easy enough to get ver 5. Lots of playing to do. Still trying to get my head around technical analysis
