Hi guys - any help and advice very welcome

Hi All,

I am a dutch male, 27 years old, and a complete newbie to trading. I started playing with a demo account about a year ago, and since about 6 months I am actively studying all there is to forex and trading.
I have a decent but humble job in the paramedic sector. I got intrigued by forex because of the potential money gains ofcourse, but also because it fills my appetite for mathematics, economics, and statistic.

Since about 1 month I have started trading a live account at markets.com using MT4 and I have to say, I truly love trading. My initial plan was to start with an account of 3000 bucks and grow to a 1.000.000 account in about 10 years  (difficult, I know, but i reckon if you don’t aim high you won’t shoot high). I started now trading a micro account of 300 bucks and even though I am at a 20% loss at the moment I truly am having fun along the way and continiously grow.

Thank you babypips.com for all the helpful info. Pipschool, the blog, and this forum is helping me out a lot. I am still eradicating stupid (mostly psychological) mistakes in my trading but I am getting more consistent. However, I still struggle to tend to a decent strategy plan, keep a blog! and adhere to good money-management. I have been trying different strategies but I came to the conclusion that it doesnt really work. So I deleted all the indicators from my charts and just look at price action, support and resistance, and fundamentals. I also decided only to trade the 1 day, 4 hrs, 1hrs charts. Trading the lower timeframes just doesnt work for me I guess… Who knows where this adventure will bring me… Hopefully to my 1 million

Thanks again!

Greetings from Holland…
