I am not new to forex but I am still a noob. I joined this site in December 2016. I paid to go thru the Online Trading Academy back then and signed up for their Forex class. I did learn alot but it was not cheap. Found out the hard way that it is also not easy. I was trading with FXCM at that time and they left the US due to rules changes from the US that they (FXCM) did not agree with. When they left I did not want to learn a new platform so I got out. I was hemorrhaging money anyway and staying busy at work so I moved on. At any rate I got back in recently with an Oanda account and started throwing away money again. I just finished The School of Pipsology a few days ago and hoping that will be the thing that helps me turn the corner. Good course! Thank you for putting it out there.
Hi Jeff,
Welcome, I am from US too and novice to trading. I started studying yesterday through the school of Pipsology. I plan on making Forex my full time job though I do not have a job at the moment- company went out business. After my study, I plan on finding a community of all kinds of experiences in Forex to join. So we can trade together at the same time in group via a chart, or conference phone calls.
I wish you well.
OTA teaches supply and demand concepts, if I remember correctly. I’m curious, why it did not work for you. Do you mind sharing some details about your experience with it?
