Well I’ve known about currency trading for years but never paid it any attention until now. My eldest brother worked for one of the major banks and he dealt in currency trading which is how I first knew about it and gained some valuable but now out-dated insights into the volatility of the market.
Everything is cause and effect when taken in context.
For me having an accident at work and being laid up has led to more free time for some strange reason and I stumbled across this and it sparked my interest. As a result here I am and working through the babypips school as well as trading with the demo account.
I’m already amazed at how easy it is to make silly decisions and then record a loss on a position when having some intestinal fortitude and patience would have easily reversed that. It just goes to show how important it is to not just jump in and act on spur of the moment reactions.
I plan to open a live account in due course and begin small with micro trades and see what happens.
