What does “fag” mean in Brazil? I ask because it means different things in different countries. In India it means “cigarette”.
True Story - When I was new to the U.S. I asked a burly New York city cab driver if he wanted to try an Indian fag. He screeched the car to a halt, started shouting obscenities at me and ordered me out of his car while threatening severe bodily harm to me. He did not even wait for me to pay him and sped off before I had the chance to close the door, almost running me over. As you can imagine, I was totally confused by his behavior to my friendly gesture.
