Does the EMA cross over have to happen at the exact same time the RSI crosses the 50?
That depends on you and how strict to the system you want to be. Once you’ve traded it for some time, you’ll know what works for you and what doesn’t. Your flexibility could absolutely change, but again, that’s up to you. If you find you’re missing trades, take note of trade scenarios where you don’t enter because RSI isn’t where it needs to be, but still follow the trade to see what happens if you had entered. You may find that relaxing the rules could work.
